ISLAND PEAK EXPEDITION TREK NEPAL - 17 DAYS

Island Peak was named in 1952 by Shitons party and although it was later renamed Imja Tse, many of the locals still refer to it as Island Peak.  From Island Peak Base camp, the trek to the summit of Island Peak involves some steep sections, where the use of crampons, Ice-axe and ropes are necessary.

Not only is Island Peak an enjoyable climb, but it also offers some of the most spectacular scenery on the Everest region, with impressive and memorable views of Amadablan and Lhotse face, as well as the distant peak of Makalu
