From places to stones. Do you know where this memorial is and for whom it is?

The magic and mystery of Morocco awaits on this diverse tour, exploring this exotic land, while a safari in Eastern Africa gives you a chance to see almost a million wildebeest and Zebra as they head across the Serengeti.

This month we have a 12 day tour to Sri Lanka taking in the wonderful Cultural Triangle with some relaxing time on the beach. Grab this buy 2 get 2 free special for a fun filled cruise holiday with tons of activities for the family on the MSC Musica from South Africa

Surviving in the heat is in the news, and our Q&A looks at the Torres del Paine.

Our picture of the month is of a wall of ice on Mera Peak and our photo series looks at perspectives of Namche.

Last month's image brought in very few correct queries. First person in with the correct answer was Alain Hocepied, followed by Kim Jarvis and Eric Stranford. The image was of Ariau Amazon Towers. The highest unit, called the Tarzan House, sat within a living Mahogony tree at a height of 22 metres. Sadly the towers closed at the beginning of 2016, 30 years after the first tower was built, due to declining  numbers in tourism after the twin towers went down in the USA. However they still have a wonderful blog on plant species in the area.

In the News - Not in the news but certainly news worthy

To survive comfortably in hot environments, humans must eliminate enough heat to keep their body temperature within acceptable limits (97-100°F/35-37°C), and replace water lost through sweating. Serious consequences are possible if body temperature stays too high for too long or dehydration becomes severe. Are you ready for this crucial hot-weather leadership task: recognizing and responding to heat illness and dehydration? Read more here
