One of the top destinations in South America, is Iguazu falls - the most voluminous falls in the world and more than three times the width of Niagara falls. The Iguazu Falls stretch in width for 2.7 kilometres (or 1.7 miles). Their height varies between 60 metres (200 feet) and 82 metres (or 269 feet). During the rainy season of November to March, the rate of flow of water going over the falls may reach up to 450,000 cubic feet (12,750 cubic m) per second.

Iguazu Falls Itinerary


Day-1. Rio - Iguazu

Transfer to the airport for the flight to Iguazu. Arrival and transfer to your hotel.

Day-2. Iguazu Falls - Brazilian Side

Cross the border into Brazil for a full day excursion to appreciate a wider view of the falls. The falls lie on the three borders of Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay. The tour will include a "Macuco Safari" an exhilarating boat ride on the Parana River, heading towards the Iguazu falls themselves. Return to your hotel in Argentina

Day-3. Iguazu Falls - Argentinean Side

A visit to the fabulous UNESCO World Heritage Iguazu falls, the most voluminous falls in the world and more than three times the width of the Niagara falls. The Argentinean side of Iguazu allows for a close appreciation. Set in a subtropical rain forest reserve of over 180,000 hectares, Iguazu is home to jaguar, puma, caiman and over 400 species of bird. Return to your hotel.

Day-4. Iguazu - Rio

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for the return flight to Rio.
