The Colca is the world's second-deepest canyon, a smidgeon shallower than its near neighbour, the Cotahausi, and twice as deep as the more famous Grand Canyon.
Combine this with the Inca Trail trek known as one of the most famous and popular hiking trails worldwide.
The Sirimon Chagoria route joins two of
the most scenic routes up Mount Kenya, producing a remarkably diverse
and spectacular trek. Sirimon on the west of Mount
Kenya passes through the dry side of the mountain and then descends onto
the Chagoria path on the opposite side with its lush bamboo and forests.
Venture onto the quieter side of Kilimanjaro on
the longer approach to summit via the Lemosho route.
It is best done in 7-8 days to allow your body to
acclimatise to altitude. Lemosho is a quieter route with a perfect
balance of scenery, and less people.
