was the Ruddy Shelduck. It is sometimes confused with the Egyptian Goose, the difference being a dark bill, short dark legs, dark bill, a thicker neck and lack of eye-patch. This image was taken at Gokyo Lakes in Nepal. Correct answers go to Sue Simpkins,
