Day 1: Hanoi arrival.

Day 2: Hanoi City tour.
Meal: breakfast | Accommodation: hotel in Hanoi. In the morning, we head to the Ho Chi Minh Complex, including Ba Dinh Square and his modest stilt-house, which provide valuable insights into the life and times of one of the most successful leaders of the 20th century, as well as the Old Pillar Pagoda. After that, we'll visit the historical Temple of Literature, Vietnam's first university, established in 1070. In the afternoon, drive to the Ethnology Museum for an overview of Vietnam's 54 distinct ethnic groups and enjoy a performance of traditional Water Puppetry, an art form unique to northern Vietnam at the museum outdoor stage. As we return to the Old Quarter, you’ll cruise around the Colonial and Old Quarters on a cyclo to discover the city’s architectural mixture of French colonial style, social realism, pagodas, communal houses with many Chinese features, merchants’ residences, tube dwellings, modern buildings, and vernacular houses. Overnight in Hanoi. The day program includes a visit to a religious architecture; it’s advisable to wear long trousers/blouse to cover shoulders and knees.
Day 3: Hanoi – Halong.
Meal: breakfast, lunch, dinner | Accommodation: Treasure Junk. 7:45 – Pick up from hotel. 8:00 – Depart from Hanoi for a 3.5-hour drive to Halong City through the Red River Delta. Upon arrival, get on board the Treasure Junk and start the cruise to the boundaries of Halong Bay while lunch with fresh seafood is served (vegetarian and kids menus available). After lunch, relax as limestone rock formations parade all around for about 2 hours before the first stop. Reach the perfect spot where the waters of Halong and Bai Tu Long meet and wave together, then explore the bay in depth with your own kayak and paddle. Return to the Treasure before sunset, enjoy a refreshment and aperitif on the sundeck, and cruise to the anchorage area. Dinner is served inside or outside depending on weather conditions. Overnight on board in a cozy air-conditioned cabin with en-suite bathroom facilities. The transfer from Hanoi to Halong is by shuttle bus, with a stop for food, beverages, souvenirs, and clean toilets along the way.
Day 4: Halong – Hanoi – Fly to Danang – Hoi An.
Meal: brunch | Accommodation: hotel in Hoi An. Wake up early to enjoy coffee, tea, and cakes at 6:30am while witnessing the silence of the misty bay. A 30-minute Tai Chi session is organized, or enjoy sunbathing with a cup of coffee. Around 7:45am, hop on bamboo boats to visit a secluded floating village surrounded by mountains, tracing the waterways between floating houses and small rowing boats used for everyday life. Return to the Treasure before 9am and enjoy brunch from 9:30am before taking a last glance at the rocks standing as eternal guardians. Once on land, sit at a small café to wait for the shuttle bus back to Hanoi. Based on your flight schedule, you will be driven to Noi Bai airport for an evening flight to Da Nang. Upon arrival, you are met and transferred to your hotel in Hoi An. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 5: Hoi An countryside and walking tour of the Old Town.
Meal: breakfast | Accommodation: hotel in Hoi An. The tour begins with a transfer to Bach Dang port for a 15-minute boat ride on the Thu Bon River to Kim Bong Village. The
guide introduces the village, showing the shipbuilding area where wooden vessels are built using traditional techniques, and a carpentry workshop creating handcrafted furniture, sculptures, and souvenirs. Afterwards, enjoy a one-hour bicycle tour within inner and outer Kim Bong Village, exploring peaceful rural life, temples, old houses, Kim Buu Pagoda, mat weaving, coracle boats, and an old bamboo bridge. Back to the hotel to relax. In the afternoon, enjoy a walking tour around Hoi An Old Town, visiting the Japanese Covered Bridge, Phuc Kien Assembly Halls, the local fish market, art galleries, and tailor shops. Overnight in Hoi An. The cycling part is easy and can be replaced by walking.
Day 6: Hoi An – My Son – Hoi An.
Meal: breakfast | Accommodation: hotel in Hoi An. After breakfast, drive to the World Heritage site of My Son Sanctuary. Your guide shows the remains of the Cham towers, built centuries ago, explaining their origins and purpose. Return to your hotel in the afternoon and enjoy free time. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 7: Hoi An – Danang – Ho Chi Minh City.
Meal: breakfast | Accommodation: hotel in Ho Chi Minh City. Transfer to Danang airport for a flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Upon arrival, you are met and transferred to your hotel. In the afternoon, view the Jade Emperor Pagoda, General Post Office, City Hall, and Notre Dame Cathedral, followed by a visit to the Reunification Palace. Optional activities include the War Remnants Museum or Ben Thanh Market. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 8: Ho Chi Minh City – Cai Be – Ho Chi Minh City.
Meal: lunch | Accommodation: hotel in Ho Chi Minh City. Pick up from your hotel by shuttle bus for a 2.5-hour drive to Cai Thia pier. Board a boat to Hoa Loc village and cycle through the countryside, visiting local houses, handicraft workshops, and enjoying tea with local snacks. Continue by bamboo sampan through quieter canals of the Mekong Delta to Cai Be, then return to Ho Chi Minh City. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City. Cycling is easy and can be extended for longer tours if desired.
Day 9: Ho Chi Minh City – Cu Chi Tunnel – Siem Reap.
Meal: breakfast, lunch | Accommodation: hotel in Siem Reap. Depart early to Tan Cang pier and take a speedboat to Cu Chi Tunnels, exploring the tunnels, bunkers, and historical exhibits. Enjoy a traditional Vietnamese lunch by the river before returning to Ho Chi Minh City. Later, transfer to Tan Son Nhat airport for your flight to Siem Reap, where you are met and taken to your hotel. Overnight in Siem Reap.
Day 10: Sunrise at Pre Rup – Ta Prohm – Banteay Srei.
Meal: breakfast | Accommodation: hotel in Siem Reap. Rise early to see sunrise over the rice fields at Pre Rup. Visit Ta Prohm temple, followed by Preah Dak village and Banteay Samre temple. End the day at Banteay Srei, known as the “Fortress of the Women” for its intricate carvings. Optional: skip sunrise and start at Ta Prohm with a breakfast box from your hotel. Overnight in Siem Reap.
Day 11: Angkor Wat – Angkor Thom – Bayon.
Meal: breakfast | Accommodation: hotel in Siem Reap. Pick up from your hotel to explore Angkor Wat, including a picnic breakfast and detailed bas-reliefs. Continue to Angkor Thom, visiting the Terrace of the Leper King, Terrace of Elephants, Baphuon, and finish at the Bayon with its 54 towers and faces of Avalokiteshvara. Overnight in Siem Reap.
Day 12: Departure.
Meal: breakfast | Accommodation: not included. Depending on your departure time, transfer to Siem Reap airport for your flight home. Tour ends at the airport.
